Iowa Farm Bureau issued the following announcement on Dec. 16.
The following statement may be attributed to Iowa Farm Bureau Federation President Craig Hill:
“Iowa farmers are very pleased that the U.S. and China have agreed to a phase one deal. Trade is vital to Iowa agriculture and China is an important market for Iowa producers. We look forward to learning more about the terms of the deal and resuming trade with China.”
