City of Waukee issued the following announcement on Jan. 7.
The Waukee Public Library is offering convenient new features through cardholders’ accounts. Library materials will now be renewed automatically on due dates if there are no item holds and if pending fines are less than $5. Users can renew items via phone as well at 515-978-7944. Also, if you like to see what books you have read or movies you've check out, etc., the library now allows patrons to opt in to Loan History to keep track of materials previously checked out. Staff members can assist with activating this feature.
