Greg Hudson, who oversees the group and teaches social studies at Valley, said he believes Sunday’s crowd provided Reign with “the loudest response of the evening.”

“Reign had the opportunity to close out the show, and it was incredible to see the crowd support us,” he said. “I’m incredibly proud of these gentlemen.”

Along with the third-place team performance, Valley senior Eric Amundson earned the award for best soloist with his rendition of “Rainbow Connection.”

The next opportunity to watch Reign in action is at the Valley Sweetheart Show from 7-9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, and 7-9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Staplin Performing Arts Center.
