CITY OF WAUKEE: Portable Irrigation Meter Certification Options

City of Waukee issued the following announcement on Mar. 30.

This time of year, the City is usually encouraging residents to bring portable irrigation meters into City Hall for certification. However, City Hall is still closed amid COVID-19 concerns. There are a few options for your existing portable meters right now:

Go ahead and start using it and certify it when City Hall reopens.
Email a photo of both the meter number (shown below) and the meter reading (shown in top square photo). Please note name, account number, address and phone number.
Visit the City Hall (230 W. Hickman Road) vestibule M-F between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to show the meter to staff through the glass. Please bring your phone with you.
