City of Waukee issued the following announcement on Apr. 14.

MODIFIED: ASI will collect ONE bulky item from your curb EACH WEEK of the year.

Waukee’s annual Spring Clean-Up Week, previously scheduled for April 27-May 2, is now canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, City of Waukee/ASI garbage customers can still place ONE bulky item on the curb for pick-up EACH WEEK; ASI offers this service all year! Simply place the bulky item on the curb by 7 a.m. on your designated trash collection day, and crews will pick it up in addition to the items in your trash/recycling bins. Please review a list of accepted items and a listing of items which will not be collected. This service does not apply to those living in neighborhood associations and apartment complexes WITH PRIVATE TRASH COLLECTION.

The Household Hazardous Waste, Appliance and Tire Drop-Off Day will likely be rescheduled later this year.
