Des Moines home prices rise in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Des Moines rose by $7,000 while total sales decreased by 10.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were 4,464 homes sold, with a median sale price of $137,000 - a 5.4% increase over the $130,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 5,001 homes sold in Des Moines in 2018.
