City of Waukee issued the following announcement on May 1.
This May, make a librarian your pen pal! Get writing practice and receive some happy mail during this time of community distancing. Kids are invited to mail a handwritten letter or drawing to the Waukee Public Library, and the librarians will write them back. Write about a book you’ve enjoyed, your family pet, or ask us for reading recommendations. The librarians can’t wait to hear from you!
