City of West Des Moines issued the following announcement on June 4.
The curfew for all areas of the City of West Des Moines has ended now that the curfew imposed by the Polk County Board of Supervisors has been terminated.
Mayor Steve Gaer signed a proclamation on June 1 that established a curfew for all areas within the corporate limits of West Des Moines in Polk, Dallas, Madison and Warren County.
As stated in the June 1 proclamation, the curfew in West Des Moines “shall remain in effect in the City of West Des Moines until the stay at home curfew imposed by the Polk County Board of Supervisors on May 31, 2020 is modified or terminated.”
