Perry Public Library recently issued the following announcement.
Kids in the Kitchen: 3rd - 5th Grade Class

Children Summer Program - Registration Required
Imagine Your Story in the kitchen. Eating healthy and cooking skills go hand in hand. Kids will have the opportunity to prepare and taste healthy foods while learning about healthy eating along with food and kitchen safety. This is a 7 week virtual program offered via Zoom for kids who have completed 3rd through 5th grade. Registration is required by filling out the form to the left. Participants will receive a kit of the ingredients for each recipe. The kit will be picked up via curbside at the library. This program is free for participants with the Telligen Community Health Initiative grant, sponsored through the Iowa and Dallas County Departments of Public Health. Class size is limited so register soon for this 7 week program.
