City of Waukee recently issued the following annouccement.
Watch out kids: officers with the Waukee Police Department might just pull you over... for using good safety measures!
The Waukee Police Department will be on the look-out for kids who are:
wearing helmets while riding their bike/scooter.
looking both ways when crossing the street.
being awesome and safe, because safety is awesome!
If you get caught being safe, an officer will give you a ticket for a free one scoop custard cone or dish at Culver’s of Waukee. So, when you hit the streets, be safe. It could pay off with a cold treat!
