West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Aug. 24.
WDM resident and TV producer/ host Brent Roske is offering free promotion to local businesses in his civics TV program ‘Roske on Politics’. The program, which received an Emmy nomination and has featured Presidential candidates, members of US Congress, journalists and entertainers, will broadcast directly after ‘this week with George Stephanopoulos’ , every Sunday morning starting on 10/4. If you would like Brent to tape a short segment at your business to help spread the word on re-opening, email the show at roskeonpolitics@gmail.com. A new :60 commercial for the TV series is now posted at roske.tv.
Brent worked in the entertainment industry in California for 17 years before moving to Iowa where he has ran two Presidential campaigns, directed the feature film 'Courting Des Moines' and started a new initiative to keep the Iowa Caucuses at KeepIowaFirst.org. Brent lives in West Des Moines with his wife Dana and daughter Marina Joy.
