CITY OF WAUKEE: Fleet Farm Holds "Ribbon-Cutting", Opens Waukee Location

Ribbon cut

City of Waukee issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.

On Aug. 26, 2020, Fleet Farm staff, Waukee City officials, Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce members, non-profit partners and more, gathered (distanced, of course) to tour and celebrate the upcoming grand opening of Fleet Farm’s new Kettlestone location. The new store is located at 1300 SE Kettlestone Blvd. It is now open to the public!

Waukee Mayor Courtney Clarke spoke at the ribbon-cutting event, which was really a "log-sawing" ceremony. City Council Members Chris Crone and Ben Sinclair were also present.

"With Fleet Farm’s unique offering of products and services, our residents and the broader regional community will be well served. Thank you to Fleet Farm for recognizing the many benefits of our city and choosing to make Waukee your newest home."

Customers can find fishing, hunting and outdoor products, auto parts, farm and pet supplies, home improvement and household goods, clothing and footwear, and much more. The new retail center is employing roughly 200 people.
