Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 9.
As part of the Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce, Waukee Young Professionals (Waukee YP) empowers young professionals (35 and under) who live or work in the Waukee area to come together, build relationships, and make a positive impact within the local community.
Waukee YP is currently accepting applications for 2021 leadership committee positions, including Treasurer, Philanthropy, Events and Membership Chairs.
These roles involve one-year terms, beginning officially on January 1, 2021. The leadership committee meets monthly from 12-1 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month, and members are expected to attend the majority of YP-hosted events.
