Church Of God issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
Holiday City Office Closures and Trash Delays
All City offices, including the Waukee Public Library, will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 24 and Friday, Dec. 25 in observance of Christmas, as well as Friday, Jan. 1 for New Year's Day. In addition to office closures, there will be no garbage/recycling collection on Friday, Dec. 25 or Friday, Jan. 1 for City of Waukee (ASI) customers. Friday garbage/recycling neighborhoods will be collected on Saturday during those holiday weeks.
