City of Waukee issued the following announcement on Dec. 19.
The Christmas tree collection days for City of Waukee/ASI garbage customers are scheduled for Monday, Jan. 4 and Monday, Jan. 11, 2021. Real Christmas trees can be placed on curbs by 7 a.m. Please have all items cleared off of trees before placing them out on the curbs - this includes tinsel and garland. Trees should not be placed in bags.
This is also a great time to place other yard waste on the curb that has accumulated since the last fall yard waste collection on Nov. 30.
