Valley High School West Des Moines issued the following announcement on June 02.
The Valley High School varsity girls’ golf team won the Class 4A Iowa high school state girls’ golf tournament on Wednesday, June 2, at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny.
The Tigers, led by head coach Kelli Moore and assistant coach Kari Lombardi, finished the two-day tournament with a record score of 604. The previous record was 631.
