City of Waukee issued the following announcement on August 05.
Officer Haley Beckner started with the Waukee Police Department on July 6, 2021. She is a graduate of Iowa State University where she earned a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Child, Adult and Family Services. She also holds a master's degree in Criminal Justice.
Beginning in late August, Officer Beckner will attend the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy for the 15-week basic training program. Upon graduation, she will go through four months of field training in Waukee.
In her free time, Officer Beckner likes reading, working out, doing crafts, swimming and hanging out with her cat Kiara and dog Clifford. Welcome to Waukee, Officer Beckner!
