City of Waukee issued the following announcement on August 16.
For years, the intersection of Warrior Lane and Windfield Parkway has featured four stop signs and a blinking red light. Beginning Friday, Aug. 20 at 7 a.m., that intersection will shift to only a two-way stop.
Stop signs for northbound and southbound traffic on Warrior Lane will be removed, as will the blinking red light. This change is expected to improve the flow of traffic in the area. Drivers on Windfield Parkway will still need to stop, as the stop signs will remain on Windfield Parkway.
Please use caution in the area until drivers become accustomed to the change. Thanks!
