In observation of the Labor Day holiday, City Administration Buildings will be closed and there will be no collection of garbage, yard waste or recycling on Monday, September 6, 2021.
For all residents, collection will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week as the holiday pickup schedule outlines. For more information, call the Des Moines Public Works Customer Service Center at (515) 283-4950.
All Des Moines City Administration Buildings will be closed on Monday, September 6, 2021 to observe the holiday. All Des Moines Public Library branches will also be closed this weekend from Saturday September 4th, through Monday, September 6th for the holiday.
