City of West Des Moines recently issued the following announcement on September 01.
Most City offices and City Hall will be closed on Monday, September 6, for the Labor Day holiday. Recycling, yard waste and garbage collection will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week. Friday’s collection will occur on Saturday.
Due to the Monday holiday, the West Des Moines City Council will meet on Tuesday, September 7, at 5:30 p.m.
In preparation for Labor Day, Public Services will ground fog designated parks for mosquitos, weather permitting, prior to the holiday. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the Public Services Department at 515-222-3480.
