Penn State and Iowa don’t meet on the gridiron for another two weeks, but there’s a buzz surrounding the matchup in the Big Ten Conference.
That’s because as of Sept. 30, the Nittany Lions and the Hawkeyes are undefeated and may still be so at their 4 p.m. kickoff Oct. 9.

Saturday Tradition reported that Penn State and Iowa are equally 4-0.
The Hawkeyes’ perfect start is part of the program’s overall winning streak of ten games.
Iowa has defeated Indiana, Iowa State, Kent State and Colorado State and is favored against Maryland as of this writing.
Penn State reeled off victories over Wisconsin, Ball State, Auburn and Villanova.
As of this writing, the Nittany Lions are to face off against Indiana.
Penn State University Athletics reported that the Nittany Lions lead the all-time series against Iowa 17-13, including a 10-5 advantage in Iowa City.
Iowa won the most recent contest 41-21.
