The median sale price of a home sold in December 2021 in Des Moines rose by $12,550 while total sales decreased by 4.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2021, there were 416 homes sold, with a median sale price of $166,000 - a 8.2% increase over the $153,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 434 homes sold in Des Moines in December 2020.
