The fourth quarter of 2021: Home prices in Dallas Center increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Dallas Center rose by $27,500 while total sales decreased by 21.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $202,500 - a 15.7% increase over the $175,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Dallas Center in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Dallas Center for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,653, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
