City of Windsor Heights recently issued the following announcement.
The City of Windsor Heights recently accepted a Best Development Award from 1000 Friends of Iowa in the Transportation / Complete Streets category for the University Ave Reconstruction project. The nonprofit held a virtual awards ceremony and presented eight awards to both private and public organizations. 1000 Friends of Iowa is a statewide, membership-based nonprofit focused on engaging local residents around responsible and equitable land use, and addressing the impacts of irresponsible land use.
