CITY OF WEST DES MOINES

PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT

REQUEST FOR BID

Sealed bids will be received by the City of West Des Moines, Iowa, on or before 2:00 p.m., local time, on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 for the following:

MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex – Resurfacer Room Slab Replacement

The extent of work on this project is the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of improvements generally described as follows:

The project consists of removal and replacement of existing slab on grade in the resurfacer room, this will also include modifications to below slab plumbing to allow slab to slope to drain. The project is located at the MidAmerican Energy RecPlex, 6500 Grand Avenue in West Des Moines, IA.

Work on said project shall commence on April 4, 2022 and shall be completed by May 13, 2022.

Interested parties shall submit their bids in a sealed envelope, plainly marked “MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex – Resurfacer Room Slab Replacement”
