City of Urbandale recently issued the following announcement.
Yard waste season will begin the week of April 4th. Yard waste is picked up on a weekly basis on your regular collection day. Please have bags/yard bins out to the curb by 6:00 a.m. on your regular collection day. Please put yard bags/bins four feet away from trash and recycle containers.
Please use the MWA brand Compost Bags, or if you use an off brand yard bag, you will need to attached a MWA Compost Sticker to the off brand yard bag.
If you have a yard waste bin, it must have the current 2022 sticker on it. Renewal stickers are $105 and can be purchased at the Engineering/City Hall offices 3600 86th Street, Urbandale, IA 50322, or purchase online at https://www.mwatoday.com/waste-recycling/yard-waste/cart-services/yard-waste-cart-renewal.
