Waukee City Administrator Tim Moerman is retiring after nine years spent serving the people of Waukee in this role. Join City officials and community leaders as they celebrate his career and contributions.

Waukee City Administrator Tim Moerman is retiring after nine years spent serving the people of Waukee in this role. Join City officials and community leaders as they celebrate his career and contributions on March 30 at the Waukee Innovation & Leadership Center at 295 SE Ashworth Road. Doors open at 5 p.m. with a program at 5:30 p.m. Snacks will be provided. Open to the public. RSVPs are appreciated.

Tim Moerman is a Sioux Center, Iowa native. He is a graduate of Dordt College in Sioux Center with degrees in Business Administration and Accounting. He has a master’s degree in Public Administration from Iowa State University. Tim has served in public administration in Iowa since 1986 in the communities of Sibley, Jefferson, Dubuque, Mason City, Ankeny and Waukee. 

He has been active as a volunteer, serving in the past on boards such as the Governor’s Commission on Volunteerism, the Dordt College Board of Trustees, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Dubuque, and several church leadership positions. Tim is married with three grown daughters and 11 grandchildren.
