Home prices increased in Johnston during April

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Johnston rose by $50,000 while total sales decreased by 48.8 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were 22 homes sold, with a median sale price of $345,000 - a 16.9 percent increase over the $295,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 43 homes sold in Johnston in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Johnston for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,698, approximately 1.4 percent of the median home sale price for April.
