Crews will close Fuller Road to through traffic from Grand Avenue to South 35th Street at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7. The closure will last about a month so that crews can perform milling, concrete patching and asphalt overlay.
Large electronic message boards will display closure dates for the general public. Residents living on Fuller Road will have access to enter and exit their driveways and the adjacent side streets to Fuller Road. Residents located on a side street that connects to Fuller Road will receive detailed information about this project through the mail.
All drivers granted access to Fuller Road during construction are advised to drive slowly and use caution in the work zone.
If you do not live on Fuller Road or an adjacent side street (such as South 26th, South 28th, Grand Oaks Drive, South 25th, South 32 Court), the City is asking that you find an alternate route and not drive through the work zone. Please follow the posted detour on Mills Civic Parkway to E.P. True Parkway to Grand Avenue or take Grand Avenue to the south.
Staggered barricades at the Grand Avenue and South 35th Street closures will remain in place until the project is complete. View a map of the Fuller Road closure and detour.
