First half of 2022: Home prices in Granger (Polk County) increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Granger in Polk County rose by $110,530 while total sales remained unchanged with 20 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 20 homes sold, with a median sale price of $405,530 - a 37.5 percent increase over the $295,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 20 homes sold in Granger in the first half of 2021, as well.

The median sales tax in Granger for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $5,246, approximately 1.3 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
