Have you wondered how much rain water you could collect from the roof of your home? Have you ever wanted to save money watering your garden? By collecting rain water, you can water your garden, conserve water and reduce stormwater runoff that carries pollutants from hard surfaces into nearby waterways. Come make your own rain barrel using a recycled plastic barrel and a few widely available parts.
All materials will be provided, participants will use power tools. Limit one barrel per household. Must be a Waukee Resident to register. Click here to register by September 26!
