Help us celebrate Winter’s Eve in West Des Moines!

Description:
The City of West Des Moines is inviting the public to attend our Winter’s Eve celebration on Monday, November 28, at 5:30 p.m. at the Jamie Hurd Amphitheater, 4100 Mills Civic Parkway.
A performance will take place on stage by the Heartland Youth Choir, and wintry refreshments will be provided by Hy-Vee.
The City also will recognize the 2022 Community Light Bearer, West Des Moines Cub Scout Pack 205, for their work to keep Legion Park clean this year. Members of the Cub Scout Pack will help Mayor Russ Trimble “flip the switch” and light this season’s tree at 5:45 p.m.
In the spirit of the season, donations for WDM Human Services will be collected during the event. Cash will be accepted in any amount, as well as $25 grocery store gift cards and new, unwrapped toys.
