The 2023 Waukee Parks & Recreation Spring & Summer Program Guide is now posted. Our line-up is FULL of awesome classes, events, camps, leagues and more! We have something interesting for people of any age. Whether you can't wait to be outside in the summer sun or prefer your fun to be air-conditioned, you are sure to find an activity to delight you.
Registration opens March 1 at 8 AM at Waukee.org/Registration.
In the guide, you'll find lots of opportunities to have some fun:
- Waukee’s popular festivals/events such as the April 8 Easter Egg Hunt and a two-day Independence Day Celebration July 3-4
- Movies in the Park featuring: “Minions: the Rise of Gru”, “Top Gun: Maverick” and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”
- Youth sports, including Mini Sluggers T-Ball, Parent/Child Blastball and Introduction to Soccer
- Youth camps, such as All-Star Sports, Art in the Park, Explore the Outdoors and Super Snackers
- Youth classes in art, cooking, dance, martial arts, tumbling and yoga
- Adult sport leagues, including coed softball, sand volleyball, pickleball and bags
- Adult activities, including meal prep parties, bingo and Snacks & Facts with the Waukee Public Library
