Trout Day at Triumph Park

On Saturday, April 1, come watch the Iowa DNR will stock Triumph Park pond with hundreds of trout and then try to catch one of the prize fish at the first ever Trout Day.

Around noon, you can watch the interesting process of transferring fish from truck to pond. Don't forget your fishing pole! You can cast from the shore or our ADA-accessible fishing pier. If you're lucky, you'll catch one of the special pre-tagged fish and win a prize generously donated by Scheels, Bass Pro Shops or Fleet Farm.

Pack a picnic or grab lunch from The Yellow Wagon food truck. Enjoy free cookies and water from Hy-Vee and grab freebies from the City of Waukee Stormwater and Parks & Recreation tables. Bring the whole family to enjoy all the great amenities at Triumph Park, including our EPIC inclusive playground and trails. Find more information at Waukee.org/TroutDay.
