Friday, Jan. 31: Waukee High School standout Zana Zeleke’s college team loses to Ouachita Baptist Tigers

On Friday, Jan. 31, former Waukee High School standout Zana Zeleke’s current college team, the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Ouachita Baptist Tigers.

The game took place at Petesy Langston Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 1 p.m. at Dee White Field against Henderson State Reddies.
