On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Dowling Catholic High School standout Teagan Kavan’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Dowling Catholic High School standout Teagan Kavan’s current college team, the Texas Longhorns, won 13-7 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Lamar Lady Cardinals.

The game took place at Lamar Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Lady Cardinals this season.

The Longhorns’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 4 p.m. at Red & Charline McCombs Field against Maryland Terrapins.
