On Tuesday, March 4, former Des Moines Christian School standout Jack Schmaltz’s current college team, the Buena Vista Beavers, won 7-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Marian Sabres.

The game took place at Northeast Regional Park. This was their first matchup against the Sabres this season.

The Beavers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 12 p.m. at Chain of Lakes Field against Grove City Wolverines.
