On Monday, March 10, former Valley High School standouts Gianna Lara and Ireland Broderick’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mavericks, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Point Park Pioneers.

The game took place at Legends Way Ballfields. This was their first matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 10 at 4:15 p.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against Ohio Dominican Panthers.
