On Monday, March 10, former Valley High School standouts Gianna Lara and Ireland Broderick’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mavericks, won 7-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Ohio Dominican Panthers.

The game took place at Legends Way Ballfields. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 9 a.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against Findlay Oilers.
