On Saturday, March 15, former Waukee High School standout Luke Gainer’s current college team, the Omaha Mavericks, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the St. Thomas Tommies.

The game took place at Tal Anderson Field. This was their second matchup against the Tommies this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at Tal Anderson Field against St. Thomas Tommies.
