On Saturday, April 5, former Waukee High School standout Luke Gainer’s current college team, the Omaha Mavericks, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the North Dakota State Bison.

The game took place at Tal Anderson Field. This was their second matchup against the Bison this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at Tal Anderson Field against North Dakota State Bison.
