On Friday, April 11, former Waukee High School standout Zana Zeleke’s current college team, the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, lost 2-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Emporia State Hornets.

The game took place at Bearcat Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Hornets this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 12 p.m. at Bearcat Softball Field against Washburn Ichabods.
