Wednesday, March 12: Waukee High School standout Luke Gainer’s college team wins to Kansas State Wildcats

On Wednesday, March 12, former Waukee High School standout Luke Gainer’s current college team, the Omaha Mavericks, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Kansas State Wildcats.

The game took place at Tal Anderson Field. This was their first matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 1 p.m. at Tal Anderson Field against St. Thomas Tommies.
