Friday, March 14: Waukee High School standout Luke Gainer’s college team loses to St. Thomas Tommies

On Friday, March 14, former Waukee High School standout Luke Gainer’s current college team, the Omaha Mavericks, lost 21-11 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the St. Thomas Tommies.

The game took place at Tal Anderson Field. This was their first matchup against the Tommies this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 3 p.m. at Tal Anderson Field against St. Thomas Tommies.
