On Sunday, April 27, former Valley High School standouts Gianna Lara and Ireland Broderick’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mavericks, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs.

The game took place at Maverick All-Sports Dome. This was their first matchup against the Mustangs this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 27 at 2 p.m. at Maverick All-Sports Dome against Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs.
