Former Northwest High School standout Sierra Franklin played on Saturday, May 17 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Saturday, May 17, former Northwest High School standout Sierra Franklin’s current collegiate team the Simpson Storm won 3-2 against the Saint Mary's Cardinals in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Saint Mary's Softball Field at 11 a.m. and was the second matchup against the Saint Mary's Cardinals in the tournament.

The Simpson Storm’s next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 1:30 p.m. at Saint Mary's Softball Field.
