Former Waukee High School standout Jaxon Van Pelt played on Saturday, May 17 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship

On Saturday, May 17, former Waukee High School standout Jaxon Van Pelt’s current collegiate team the Buena Vista Beavers won 8-22 against the CMS Stags in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Copeland Park at 6 p.m. and was the second matchup against the CMS Stags in the tournament.

The Buena Vista Beavers’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 6 p.m. at Copeland Park.
